You Asked: C.H.A.D. Answering

added on: December 3, 2012 | By: Tina Saib

Pam asked:

Food is constantly getting stuck between my teeth.  Yucky!  This just recently started happening.  Can you tell me why?

First of all, call your dentist!  “As you get older, the gum between your teeth thins and starts to recede, leaving space for food can catch.  This area is known as the “black triangle,” says Dr. Bilal Saib who specializes in restorative and cosmetic dentistry in Chapel Hill.

These “black triangles” can be permanently eliminated by a cosmetic dentist who is experienced with cosmetic bonding, veneers and/or crowns.
